Machine Lube Tech | Day Shift | Sycamore, IL | Contract $22.00/ hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lube Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including changing oil, greasing parts, and changing filters on various equipment. The job requires physical activity, including lifting 25-50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an industrial environment and ensuring that equipment is well-maintained and operating smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change oil and grease various parts of equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Replace filters and perform routine maintenance checks on machinery.
- Lift and move parts weighing 25-50 pounds as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Remain on feet throughout the shift, bending, stretching, and performing physical tasks.
- Run oil through filters and monitor for any maintenance issues.
- Assist with additional maintenance duties as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or mechanical role is preferred.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Comfortable working on your feet, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and equipment care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Industrial work environment requiring physical activity, including bending, lifting, and standing.
- Exposure to oils and other maintenance materials.
