Job Full Description
We are hiring for Quality Control Inspectors on 1st and 2nd Shifts in Palatine, IL and Mount Prospect, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints to interpret specifications for quality control.
- Use micrometers and calipers to measure product dimensions accurately.
- Operate and work with vision systems (experience with Vision systems is a plus).
- Inspect tiny parts and ensure quality, requiring excellent vision and attention to detail.
- Work with visual inspection operations to identify defects.
- Comfortable using technology, including SPC (Statistical Process Control) data and Vision Systems.
Shifts:
- 1st shift: Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00p-11:30p
Requirements of a Quality Control Inspector:
- Hands-on experience using micrometers and calipers. (MUST)
- Proven experience with blueprint reading.
- Good vision for tiny parts and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work with technology and record data.
