The Chemical Maintenance Manager is responsible for overall utilization of plant resources to achieve strategic maintenance and reliability objectives. This includes the preparation and tracking of maintenance budget, implementation of capital projects, and management of all maintenance activities including the annual turnaround.
Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership to the Maintenance Group.
· Manage the plant maintenance and reliability activities including the implementation of effective preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
· Record, monitor, and evaluate KPIs to drive progress.
· Plan, monitor and control maintenance costs to ensure cost effectiveness.
· Develop, manage and monitor value added capital spending. Manage all stages of capital projects from conception to commissioning.
· Implement and manage safety, environmental and quality programs within the Maintenance Department and throughout the plant.
· Participate in plant audits, safety reviews, and ensure compliance with all assigned action items.
· Identify opportunities and drive operational excellence within the maintenance department through critical analysis of improvement projects with a Lean Six Sigma mindset.
Location: East St. Louis, IL
Shift: Monday to Friday, Evaluation/Direct Hire
Compensation: $105,000/yr - $120,000/yr, BOE

Qualifications:
· Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree required
· Lean Six Sigma training required
· Project Management Training or experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office and SAP
· Team player, adaptable to changing priorities
· Able to drive continuous improvement using Key Performance Indicators for monitoring progress
· Well organized and well versed in scheduling and coordinating multi-trade activities/projects
· High level of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation aptitude Advocate of safe work practices
