Job Posting: Chrome Plater – Joliet, IL
Are you an experienced Chrome Plater looking for a hands-on opportunity in a well-established local machine shop? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our tight-knit team in Joliet, IL. This is a temp-to-hire position with a competitive pay increase upon permanent hire and excellent benefits.
Position Details:
- Pay: $22/hour (with increase upon transition to permanent)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Location: Joliet, IL
- Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform chrome plating on metal parts
- Use micrometers to ensure precise measurements
- Operate powered hoists, grinders, and polishers
- Maintain plating equipment and follow safety procedures
- Work closely with the owner and small team for quality production
Qualifications:
- Micrometer experience required
- Previous experience with chrome plating preferred
- Ability to operate grinders, polishers, and powered hoists
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
