Purchasing Admin Assistant

 

Purchasing Admin needed for our manufacturing client in the Grayslake area! A long-term opportunity with a well-established, growing company (in business for over 100 years)!

Highlights of Purchasing Admin:

  • Temp to Hire
  • Onsite in Grayslake, IL
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (can be flexible on hours)
  • $20/hr

Responsibilities of Purchasing Admin:

  • Responsible for vendor management in the Epicor system
  • Work with team to ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders
  • Purchase order review to ensure accuracy with the Buyer
  • Management of supplier delivery schedules
  • Resolution of discrepancies with shipments and invoices
  • Provide spreadsheet analysis for incoming inventory planning to maintain inventory levels
  • Follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely shipment and receipt of orders
  • Handle and reconcile receiving and invoicing issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior purchasing or administrative experience ideal
  • Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and sense of urgency skills needed
  • Experience with Epicor a plus 
  • Knowledge of MS Office
