Duties/Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist:
- Setup and operate CNC lathes and mills.
- Load material into machinery and offload finished product.
- Responsible for reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges or specialized tools/equipment.
Qualifications for CNC Machinist:
- 3-5 years of CNC Setup and Machining Experience.
- Experience working with Hurco & Mazak machinery preferred.
- Able to read G & M codes.
- Experience loading tools and making offsets.
- Blueprint Reading.
- Experience with inspection gauges.
- High School Education or equivalent.
