Customer Service Representative (Temporary/Contract)
Our client in Libertyville is seeking a temporary Customer Service Representative/Order Processor for a 2-4 week contract (could be extended) who brings a professional and positive attitude to a team!
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business; other fields such as Liberal Arts or Communications are acceptable)
- Experience in customer service, order processing, CRM, MS Office, Excel, Dear software, shipping labels, PO processing, and order confirmation
- Strong sense of reliability, accountability, and effective communication skills
- Ability to take charge immediately, demonstrating professionalism and leadership
Role Expectations:
- Order Entry: Accurately inputting and processing customer orders in a timely manner.
- Order Processing: Managing the entire order lifecycle from confirmation to fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Vendor Communication: Coordinating with vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and manage shipping logistics.
- Customer Communication: Providing exceptional service by addressing customer inquiries, handling complaints, and offering product support via phone, email, and chat.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of orders, payments, and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing issues proactively to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Reporting: Generating reports on order status, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform management decisions.
Work Environment:
- Offers work-life balance with flexible hours (typical 8-4 or 9-5), allowing for personal appointments as long as work is completed. Early working hours (e.g., 7am-3pm) are also available.
