Quality Inspector I & II
Pay is $18-27/hour based on skills and experience
1st and 2nd shifts available
We are seeking a Quality Inspector for a wonderful career opportunity in the medical manufacturing industry with our client in Lake Zurich. This position offers 2nd shift hours, stability, and a starting pay range of $20-$32/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities of a Medical Quality Inspector:
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet purchase order specifications
- Audit samples of in-process components, sub-assemblies, and final product to ensure they meet customer specifications.
- Complete first article inspections and related reports
- Generate & maintain all related documentation in accordance with Quality Manual.
- Identify and accurately document all defects and incidents of non-conformance, as well as communicating to the appropriate supervisor/engineer (verbally and electronically).
- Maintain identification of materials, tools, and procedures as the device is inspected
- Perform line clearance audits
- Responsible for set-up, cleaning and organization of inspection station.
Qualifications of a Medical Quality Inspector:
- At least 3 years of experience with dimensional Quality Inspection of small medical devices.
- Skilled in utilizing quality equipment and precision gauges (micrometers, calipers, microscopes, tweezers, and other measuring devices).
- Strong documentation background and skilled in writing procedures, reports, data entry.
- Skilled in reading/interpreting technical & engineering drawings.
- Strong computer skills: MS Office Suite
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
