TIG Welder
Job Description
An industry leader in fabricating custom, stainless steel food processing equipment is looking for a full time TIG Welder.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years of experience with precision fitting and welding as well as layout and assembly
- Strong understanding of TIG welding procedures and processes
- Proficient in blue print reading and layout
- Proficient in fixture preparation
- Clear understanding of distortion control
- Ability to take direction and catch on quickly
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
- Highly motivated
- Capable of generating accurate dimensional measurements
- Flexibility to adjust appropriately and work in different settings and under various circumstances like onsite, offsite, indoors, outdoors, diverse weather conditions, including standing on concrete for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work overtime and travel when necessary
- Successful completion of a welding test using thin gauge material
- Experience with conveyers and food processing equipment or other metal fabricating familiarity will position candidate higher for consideration
