Exciting opportunity for a customer service representative with a growing company in Effingham, IL!
Essential Job Functions (include but are not limited to):
- Receives and enters customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provides guidance in cross selling and upselling to assist customers in sourcing additional products
- Executes prompt and efficient resolutions to customer service issues such as wrong items shipped and others
- Maintains daily contact with customers to:
- Provides information about order status
- Maintains relationships with customer’s key buying influences
- Provides customer feedback to branch and sales management
- Secures and communicates vital pricing information
- Ensures customer needs are met through interactions with other corporate departments. (i.e. Purchasing, Outside Sales, Credit)
- Provides proficient backup for all positions at assigned branch including; sales support, warehouse, drivers and other locations as requested to ensure customer service excellence
- Demonstrates ownership of customer requests on assigned accounts in conjunction with Account Manager upon completion of initial training
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
- College Course work and/or 2+ years relevant work experience
- Knowledge of electrical products preferred
- Strong written, verbal communication and telephone etiquette skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer contact skills
- Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
- Ability to perform and retain various skill related tasks, training, and operations
