Fleet Mechanic / Technician – $30 + (BOE)
A well-established transportation company is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic/Technician to join their team in Northbrook, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and well-maintained fleet of vehicles, including school buses and other transport vehicles, most often work independently but will occasionally be expected to work well in a team setting on major projects.
Hours: Monday-Friday schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM

What we look for:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel, gasoline, electric, and CNG vehicle issues
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all repairs comply with DOT safety standards
