Job Full Description
Electronics recycling company in SW Chicago is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their teamThis position will report directly to the warehouse manager on day-to-day shipping and receiving activities.
Shift: 8:15am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Job duties:
- Inspect the material of each box and insert the information into the ERP system. Put the corresponding label into each Gaylord box.
- Consolidate the outbound material together.
- Inspect the trailer/containers conditions and photo records.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains the inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- May assist in some light assembly
- Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a background screening and random drug testing
- Able to work on a deadline
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs all day long
- Physical labor on a daily basis
- Able to perform general math
- Able to work in a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work on weekends and/or overtime
- Bilingual in Spanish will be required
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours/day.
