Express Employment has partnered with a growing Grain Company and we are seeking reliable candidates for the following locations. (Tonica, Malden, and Ottawa Areas)
Position: Outside Laborer
Location: Tonica, Malden, and Ottawa, IL
Hours of Operation: 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Subject to change)
Pay: $17 per hour
This role involves considerable physical exertion, including heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions. If you thrive in an active, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Filling anhydrous ammonia tanks.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities, including tasks like sweeping, shoveling, mowing, and pressure washing.
- Responsible for maintaining the professional appearance of rolling stock, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Adapting to daily facility needs and responding to various job responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) and noisy environments.
- Working conditions may include exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards, with appropriate safety measures in place.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, with shifts ranging from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Strong focus on safety and the upkeep of clean, well-maintained facilities.
