🏭 Now Hiring: Full-Time Sit-Down Forklift Operator – LaSalle, IL (Day Shift)

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a respected company in LaSalle, IL that is looking to hire a full-time Sit-Down Forklift Operator for their growing warehouse operation.
📅 Schedule:
-
Monday through Friday – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Occasional Saturday Overtime – 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (as needed, especially during peak season)
🔍 Job Details:
-
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
-
Load and unload pallets, including sandbags weighing 50–60 lbs and boxes up to 30 lbs
-
General warehouse work, including order prep and inventory support

Turn customer tank valves on and off (training provided)

Use two-way radio communication with team

Participate in in-house training and take a forklift skills test
-
Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
📈 Peak Season:
Busy time of year runs April–September, with June and July being the heaviest.
✅ Requirements:

Recent experience operating a sit-down forklift
-
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Must pass a background check
-
Warehouse experience preferred
