Job Full Description
Our client is locally-owned butcher shop that prides itself on quality products, excellent customer service, and a friendly atmosphere. They're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable cashier to join their team and help make every customer’s visit enjoyable! This is a seasonal position with potential to turn into long term. Pay is $16 per hour M-F 8-5.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Operate the cash register to process purchases accurately
- Assist customers with inquiries about our products
- Weigh, package, and label purchases as needed
- Keep the cashier station clean and organized
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory when required
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
