Job Full Description
An outstanding manufacturing company in Grayslake is looking for an experienced Zinc Injection Molder to join their team. The injection molder is responsible for building small to medium size precision Die Cast Dies and Plastic Injection Molds from tooling drawings and piece part prints. The primary goal is to keep manufacturing assembly machines running smoothly to produce quality parts in die cast and plastic department.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in plastic or zinc injection molding
- Experience in running Lathes, Surface Grinders, Milling machines.
- Experience with sinker EDM Machines and electrode construction.
- Ability to read engineering piece part prints, have mathematical skills and measuring skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot mold problems and make the corrections needed a plus
- Ability to make replacement inserts for molds.
- Ability to build fixtures for manufacturing assembly machines a plus
- Knowledge of trim dies a plus.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Schedule: 1st shift Monday- Friday
Hours: 6:30am-3pm
Pay: $20-$38/hour
