Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Painter / Powder Coater to join our 1st shift production team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in automotive painting and powder coating techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and applying paint or powder coatings to automotive parts with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply wet paint, undercoating, and custom applications to automotive parts as per specifications.
- Operate and maintain paint systems and equipment efficiently.
- Inspect surfaces for cleanliness, defects, and correct any issues before painting.
- Mix and match colors to meet custom requirements or specifications.
- Monitor and maintain paint system equipment for optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in automotive painting or powder coating.
- Proficiency with automotive paint systems and applications.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of paint system maintenance is a strong advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely in a manufacturing setting.
Skills:
