Job Full Description
Job Summary:
- Support kitchen personnel
- Prepare 2 meals per shift
- Set up and maintain salad bar
- Keep items stocked
- Assist with maintaining clean kitchen and dining area
- Rotating role within cafeteria crew such as: Dish Washer, Steam Cook, Salad Prep, Baker, Cold Cut Prep, Truck Unloader and more
Location: Bloomington, IN
Position Type: Evaluation Hire
Pay: $15.00 / hr
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift, may also be bending, stooping, or squatting
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to cold temperatures and extreme heats
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must comply with quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Experience required:
- Cafeteria worker experience, extensive scratch cooking experience or commercial food experience preferred
