Job Full Description
Are you someone with a background in Customer Service and Account Management who is looking to expand your horizons? Would you like to work for a company where you’re not just a number? The Specialized Recruiting Group is now partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Central Indiana to help them hire their next Customer Service Representative / Purchasing Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for existing customers, responsible for providing excellent customer service via email and over the phone.
- Will enter and track orders as well as providing quotes.
- Work interdepartmentally to troubleshoot any issues customers are experiencing from logistics to quality
- Assist in purchasing activities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a variety of personalities
- 3+ years of customer service experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency on a computer including the ability to navigate Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

- Problem-solving, confidentiality, and teamwork.
- Adaptability, reliability, and time management.
- Initiative and decision-making confidence.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time role based out of the Columbus, IN area.
- This is a first shift, in-office role
Salary and Benefits:
- Benefits include health insurance, 401k, vacation, profit sharing and more
- Salaried role with a wage range that starts at $50k and increases based on knowledge and experience.
