Company Information:
- A Plastics Manufacturer in Edinburgh is looking to add a Production Operations Manager to their team!
- The company serves many industries including automotive, healthcare, lawn and garden and industrial.
Job Summary:
- The Production Operations Manager will oversee the day to day of the production departments.
- Develop and implement plans for efficient use of resources to meet manufacturing goals.
- Lead production managers to ensure process and quality system compliance.
- Oversee purchasing and scheduling teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Analyze and resolve manufacturing challenges to improve efficiency.
- Identify and address mechanical and procedural limitations affecting performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in collaboration with HR and Safety teams.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Automation, and Tooling departments for equipment upkeep and improvement.
- Support Project Managers and Customer Service Representatives in customer relations.
- Report production issues and performance updates to the GM.
Pay/Benefits:
- Up to $100,000/yr based on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience with progressively more responsibility
- Experience with manufacturing plant management and or supervision
- Understanding of business acumen
- Attention to detail
- Ability to create innovative solutions, outstanding leadership qualities, knowledge of technical applications
- Budgeting and expense reporting
