Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Pay: $18 - $21/hr (Evaluation to hire)
Location: Edinburgh, IN
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Reports To: Materials Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers via phone and email to provide support and answer questions regarding products and services.
- Collect and enter customer orders into the system.
- Field customer questions and forward them to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
- Assist with compliance customer forms and ensure that necessary documentation is completed.
- Collaborate with management to prepare cost estimates and provide assistance in project planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including shipping, warehouse, and production staff.
- Research order status and resolve customer issues by tracking orders through the production process.
- Support the Materials Project Manager in their day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Comfortable working at a desk 90% of the time.
