Job Full Description
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Mill Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts and components according to blueprint specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of CNC machining processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC milling and lathe machines independently.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories used in CNC milling.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in machining parts to precise specifications.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming software (e.g., G-code).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in machine operation or CNC machining.
Pay Rate: $18-23/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday (some overtime required)
