Job Full Description
Job Description: As an Overhead Door Technician, you will work as part of our team installing and servicing all types of overhead door mechanics and systems -including sectional, rolling steel, high speed, service and sliding doors, gate opening systems, operable partitions and dock leveling systems
Pay Rate: $18-25/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate portable monitoring devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Operate and utilize tools such as volt meters and calibrators.
- Travel to multiple locations throughout the tri-state area using a company-provided vehicle
- Work in various environments, including confined spaces, as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 yrs experience with mechanical and electrical components
- Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Experience in operating different types of lifts (forklifts, scissor lifts, etc)
- Experience utilizing hoists and slings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving background
