We have been asked by a Hotel Management Company in Fishers to find a Contract Accounts Payable/Office Manager to cover for an upcoming maternity leave. 

 

This contract job opportunity pays $24.25/hour. It will start immediately and will last through March 2025. 

 

What will you do as the Contract Accounts Payable/Office Manager?

  • 80% of your time will be spent managing AP for 25 hotel properties (utilities, management fees, franchise royalties, taxes, etc.). Check runs are twice a month on the 1st and 15th of the month, and daily you will prep for these check runs by reviewing, verifying, and coding invoices and entering them into the accounting software system.
  • For check runs, you will generate check processing reports to present to the owners and then process approved checks and mail them and record transactions. 
  • There can be 50-75 checks per property, so you will need to manage details across this volume. Accuracy is critical. 
  • You will use an envelope stuffer to prepare and postmark checks.
  • 20% of your time will be spent managing administrative activities (phones/email, scheduling, supplies, etc.) and supporting the team.

You will be able to train with the current Accounts Payable/Office Manager for 4-5 weeks. 

 

What qualifications will you have as the Contract Accounts Payable/Office Manager? 

  • Accounts Payable experience is required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A pleasant phone demeanor and good written communication as you will be the first person customers encounter, and you will work with fellow employees at the hotel properties.
  • Able to work and remain on track with minimal supervision.
  • A ready smile and "can do" attitude will be given top consideration!
