Job Details

Our client, a Metal Fabrication Company in Westfield IN, has asked us to help them find several Laser Machine Operators for second shift. Their business is growing, and they are adding a second shift to meet demand. 

PAY: $18.00 per hour

2nd Shift -- 3:00PM to 11:30PM, with some flexibility if you need to start a little earlier or later.

What will you be doing as a Laser Machine Operator? 

• Move and load sheet metal into the machine
• Set up the machine per job to laser cut sheet steel and aluminum
• Set up production runs to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap. 

• Complete production runs per job order specifications

• Perform quality inspections using calipers and immediately correct errors
• Stage finished product for pick up

What qualifications will you have as a Laser Machine Operator? 

• Dependability, curiosity, mechanical aptitude, and being willing to pitch in wherever needed.
• Accuracy and quality are critical
• Experience running a Laser machine is ideal but not required.
• Experience running other machines such as a turret machine or a brake press is applicable
• And if you are mechanically inclined and can learn quickly, this company will invest in your training.
