Job Full Description
We have been asked by a Trade Show Exhibit Maker in Fishers, IN to help them find a Shipping/Refurbishment Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing exhibits as they are prepared for shows and receiving and refurbishing exhibits when they are returned from shows.
This job opportunity is contract/temp-to-hire paying $18.00 per hour, day shift, Monday through Friday.
What will you do as a Shipping/Refurbishment Associate?
- Set up trade show exhibits in the warehouse to display to clients.
- Pack and crate exhibit modules for storage and shipment.
- Ensure all exhibit pieces are included for shipment.
- Receive exhibits back from tradeshows.
- Check in returned exhibits to ensure all modules are returned.
- Refurbish exhibits (repair, paint, touch up).
- Put exhibits away in storage.
What qualifications will you have as a Shipping/Refurbishment Associate?
- 1-3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving experience.
- Ability to drive a forklift and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate power tools; prior carpentry/building experience is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize as job activities will vary.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to measure accurately.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
