We have been asked by a client in Fishers, IN to help them find a Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking and packing orders for commercial construction fasteners, processing orders quickly and accurately, and ensuring the correct number of packaged items are pulled. You will also stage orders for shipping, create packing slips and shipping labels, and assist with physical inventory and receiving.
This job opportunity pays $18.00 per hour, contract-to-hire, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with a half hour lunch.
What will you do as a Warehouse Associate?
- Pick and pack orders for commercial construction fasteners using order sheets.
- Process orders quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Pull the correct number of pre-packaged items.
- Lift heavy boxes appropriately and use a pallet jack and tow motor.
- Forklift experience is desired but not required.
- Stage orders for shipping.
- Create packing slips and shipping labels using a computer.
- Assist with physical inventory.
- Help with receiving and putting away inventory.
What qualifications will you have as a Warehouse Associate?
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to lift heavy boxes and operate pallet jacks and tow motors.
- Basic computer skills for creating packing slips and shipping labels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Good organizational skills for staging and inventory tasks.
