Holiday Pay:
Express offers holiday pay to replace lost wages. If a holiday falls on a scheduled work day for you or your client company, and your client company is closed on that holiday, you qualify for pay if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
- you work 900 hours in a rolling 26 week period ending one full week prior to the holiday week
- you are on an Express assignment the week of the holiday
- you are in a paid status for both the scheduled workdays before and after the holiday
Pay for the holiday will be up to 8 hours, depending on your regularly scheduled work day, at the regular hourly rate of your current assignment. Express recognizes six paid holidays per year:
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
