Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
- This is a DIRECT HIRE Health, Safety & Environmental Manager opportunity with a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple markets located in Johnson County, Indiana.
- Monitors the company’s safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations. Inspects machines and equipment for accident prevention devices.
- Observes workers and evaluates job activities to determine use of safety equipment.
- Implements administrative or engineering controls to abate or minimize safety hazards.
- Investigates causes of accidents to identify preventative safety measures for incorporation into safety programs. Prepares reports with recommendation of corrective action
- Conducts trend analysis, audits, accident investigations and site inspections of operation procedures, etc.
- Train all employees accounting to OSHA/DEQ/EPA and Manage ISO 14001 Environmental Program and Safety Program.
Pay/Benefits:
- $85,000-$110,000 based upon experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift, on site, Typical 7:00-3:30 and On-Call Emergency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (Degree preferably in Health and Safety or Industrial Hygiene)
- 5-10 years of Industrial Safety Experience
- Safety and/or Environmental certifications (preferred)
