Job Full Description
The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals in Greenwood has partnered with a leading global manufacturing company to help them hire an Accounts Payable Specialist! This company is located on the south side of downtown Indianapolis and has been family owned and operated for over 70 years.
Job Summary/Company Information:
The AP Specialist position is responsible for all accounts payable functions for the company, including but not limited to processing invoices, cutting checks, reconciling vendor statements, and generally support the Accounting department.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and efficiently, handling high volumes effectively.
- Ensure all invoices are properly coded and approved according to company policies.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
- Management of pending accounts payable.
- Prepare and process weekly vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
Pay/Benefits:
- $23/hr to $25/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am- 5pm with a one-hour lunch
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of accounts payable experience.
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience handling high-volume accounts payable.
- Experienced using three-way matching to process AP
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
