Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a locally-owned, Mechanical Service & Pro Shop that is growing on the southside of Indy that is looking to hire an Parts Clerk!
Parts Clerk Summary/Company Information:
- Pull parts for technicians according to the upcoming service schedule.
- Verify accurate allocation of parts to corresponding work orders.
- Use various part catalogs to locate and order necessary components for repairs and maintenance.
- Check in ordered parts upon arrival and manage returns, including warranty and core returns.
- Utilize computer to track inventory and parts flow effectively.
- Monitor stock levels of key items to ensure proper inventory maintenance.
- Organize and display inventory professionally in the Pro Shop.
- Assist customers in the Pro Shop by providing excellent service and sales support.
- Perform routine inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and parts vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the parts room.
Pay/Benefits:

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm,; Rotating Saturdays (2/month) 9am - 4pm.
- Overtime available.
- No nights.
Requirements:
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate strong self-motivation.
- Possess excellent punctuality.
- Exhibit a customer service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Adaptable to both standing for extended periods and desk-based tasks.
- Proficient with basic computer operations.
- Thrive in a blue collar environment.
- Prior sales or retail experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED/HSE
