Position: Electronics Recycling and Testing Associate
Type: Full-Time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

 

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Recycling and Testing Associate to join our team. This role involves recycling and reconditioning electrical devices, handling materials, and performing various general labor duties. In the testing department, you will ensure that electronics are working properly and completely wipe data from them. The testing department has a longer training period of approximately six weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recycling and Reconditioning:

  • Perform recycling and reconditioning of electrical devices.
  • Sort and handle materials.
  • Carry out general labor duties as required.

• Testing Department:

  • Test a wide range of electronics including computers, laptops, monitors, servers, and routers.
  • Ensure all devices are working properly.
  • Wipe devices completely of data.
  • Undergo a comprehensive six-week training period to master testing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Confident computer proficiency, ideally similar to skills of a video gamer.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently to troubleshoot simpler issues.
• Competency in working with multiple screens.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately.
• Independent troubleshooting skills.

Ideal Experience:

• Background in gaming or studying IT.
• Passion for computers and technology.
• Experience working with multiple screens to follow processes.
