Job Posting: Presort Specialist
Location: Indianapolis
Salary: $17.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time; M-F 6:30-3pm
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Presort Specialist to join our team. This role involves the physical sorting of assets from received pallets into asset-specific pallets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing cords and non-data-bearing items for recycling and accurately recording pallet information to be moved to sort lines.
Responsibilities:
- Physical Sorting: Sort assets from received pallets into designated asset-specific pallets.
- Removal of Non-Data Bearing Items: Remove cords and other non-data-bearing items from pallets for recycling.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record pallet information and details to be moved to sort lines.
- Material Handling: Handle materials routinely weighing between 30-50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in receiving, pick, and pack operations is ideal.
- Basic Computer Proficiency: Ability to use basic computer functions and navigate through multiple computer screens.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move materials of varying weights.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate record-keeping and sorting capabilities.
