Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Lebanon, IN
Salary: $20 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing orders, handling inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment. This role involves physical activity, including loading and unloading materials, as well as operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, stacking products on pallets, and staging for shipment.
- Load and unload pallets from trailers and boxes from containers, using a pallet jack or forklift as needed.
- Verify shipping documents for all carriers and ensure accuracy.
- Verify inbound materials against packing lists and receive them into the computer system.
- Stock materials on shelving, pallet racking, or designated areas and assign bin locations.
- Maintain inventory control by performing counts and comparing them to stock records.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean and organized by sweeping, collecting trash, and floor scrubbing.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of related warehouse experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
- Effective verbal communication skills to interact with other employees.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and use of fractions and decimals.
- Ability to pass a forklift operator course and operate a forklift safely.
- Must be willing to be trained and work with various computer programs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail for distinguishing between different products and materials.
- Experience or ability to operate various forklift equipment, including stand-up or counterbalanced reach trucks, stand-up stock pickers, LPG or electric sit-down dock unloaders/transports, and manual pallet jacks.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, squat, reach overhead, lift, push, and pull. Must frequently lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
