Job Title: Accounts Payable Accountant
Location: Noblesville, Indiana

Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving the financial success of our business, particularly within the construction industry. Prior experience in construction is a must-have to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Verify that supplier invoices match purchase orders, enter data into Sage, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for, promptly investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Purchase Orders: Create and update purchase orders in Sage while maintaining well-organized files.
- Change Order Processing: Process change orders using Sage and Excel, ensuring accurate updates and maintaining comprehensive records.
- Timesheet Management: Code and input timesheets into Sage, ensuring data accuracy and maintaining proper documentation.
- Lien Waivers: Track and manage lien waivers, keeping meticulous records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounts payable experience.
- Proven experience in the construction industry is required.
- Proficiency with Sage/Peachtree accounting software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management and data analysis.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
