Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Assemble components as needed, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

Skills

• Proficiency in plastics extrusion and blow molding processes is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery such as lathes.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Experience in warehouse operations, including forklift operation, is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring product quality.

Work Type: Temp to hire
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30a-3pm, 2:30p-11p, 10:30p-7am, $2 shift differential for off shifts
Location: Whitestown, Indiana
