Job Description: We are seeking Level 4 CNC Machinist Technicians for our facility in Lafayette, IN. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in boring, milling, drilling, and reaming. Proficiency in CNC programming and the ability to make necessary offset adjustments are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production, quality, and housekeeping while operating CNC and NC-controlled machines.
• Handle material transport, auditing, and operate wash tanks and some manual machinery.
• Interpret CNC programs, Job Instruction Sheets, CMM data, and gauge tracking processes while monitoring Infinity.
• Potential for overtime as needed to meet manufacturing demands.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machines, tools, and programs.
• Manage time effectively and collaborate well in a team setting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with multi-axis CNC machining.
• Proficient in programming CNC machines with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controllers.
• Solid understanding of machining principles, SPC, blueprint reading, geometric tolerances, CMM report interpretation, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Must pass a CNC skills assessment to qualify for the position.
• Commitment to remain in the role for 12 months, unless promoted or transitioning from night to day shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, medium to heavy-duty assembly environment.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, climbing, and standing for 8+ hours.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive hand movements using various tools.
• Some roles may require work on moving conveyors, ladders, platforms, or in confined spaces.
• Capability to wear a respirator as needed and manipulate engine components during assembly.
• Proficient use of hand and pneumatic tools, as well as automatic torque equipment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: Starting at $28.55/hour + 6% Shift Differential, plus a $2500 Sign-On Bonus
