Job Title: Laser Operator
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to operate laser cutting machines, handle basic maintenance, and assist in various production tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser cutting machines and assist other machine operators as needed.
- Set up machines, load programs, and adjust settings based on material type and thickness.
- Organize, stack, and count parts after laser cutting.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure necessary supplies are stocked.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Support production by operating other fabrication equipment when necessary.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with laser cutting machines (Amada, TruDisk/TruFlow, Mazak, Cincinnati, etc.).
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong background in working with sheet metal.
- Knowledge of tooling, tool maintenance, and material identification.
- Strong math skills, including fraction/decimal conversions.
