Job Description
We’re looking for an Energy Efficiency Auditor & Quality Control Inspector for a direct hire position with a local team dedicated to helping communities thrive by providing energy efficiency services and resources to individuals and families.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct in-home energy assessments using advanced weatherization equipment.
- Ensure program compliance by achieving and maintaining certifications (Energy Auditor & Quality Control Inspector).
- Enter data and manage project details in our weatherization database.
- Communicate with program participants to schedule and conduct assessments.
- Stay updated on program changes, policies, and best practices.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Weatherization Program Coordinator.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (construction or HVAC experience preferred).
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changes.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb during home assessments.
- Regularly lift up to 75 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for operating equipment and tools.
- Some local traveling involved.
