Job Overview:
The Air Tool Repair Technician plays a vital role in maintaining, certifying, and troubleshooting plant torque control equipment and tools. Your skills will ensure accurate assembly processes and contribute to our commitment to quality production.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, audit, and certify plant torque control equipment, including air, electric, and hand tools.
- Collaborate with Datamyte software for torque process management.
- Use statistical techniques for torque process control and issue diagnosis.
- Maintain electronic controlled torque tools for precision.
- Train new employees and support Quality hold rework.
Requirements:
- Understanding of assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and hydraulics.
- Proficiency in computer systems and communication.
- Ability to read technical diagrams.
- Strong math skills for measurements.
- Familiarity with air, electric, and hydraulic tools.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification or relevant training preferred.
- Previous torque equipment maintenance experience a plus.
