Test Cell Technician
1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm EST - Mon-Fri
Pay: Based on experience
Safely perform complete quality control checks on all Girtz power modules. Testing all electrical circuits, including switchgear, power distribution fuel displays and battery charging systems. Make repairs to such circuits. Inspecting all aspects of engine and engine components. Mechanical repair of things such as coolant leaks, fuel leaks and fuel probes. Responsible for setting up power modules for test to include fueling of the unit, attaching load cables and AC house shore power.
Skills Required:
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Ability to weld and operate machining tools.
- Basic computer, electrical and mechanical skills.
- Understanding of diesel engines and power generators
- Ability to use basic hand tools, electrical measuring
Experience Required: Technical Certificate with 1 year related experience and / or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.
