Machine Operator (2nd Shift)
Mon-Fri: 3:30pm-11:00pm
Pay: $18/hr. + Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret print dimensions and bills of material for machine set-up information.
- Set NC control settings and or mechanical settings for appropriate part dimensions and or cutting conditions.
- Select and load punches and dies in machine if appropriate.
- Load material into machine by hand or by hoist.
- Cycle machine and verify dimensions of work piece produced.
- Unload parts from machine.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required: Machine operation skills, math skills, reading and comprehension skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
**Must know how to read a tape measure and do decimals. **
Qualities Required: Good work ethic and attendance. Good work history.
Experience Required: Machine operation experience.
Equipment Used: Machines and tools
Education Requirements: HS diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience or training.
Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
