Job Full Description
CNC Operator Job Description:
Express Employment is currently working with a premier manufacturer specializing in complex fabrication for heavy-duty machinery. As a CNC Operator you will be responsible for the machinery, troubleshooting, and meeting production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for CNC machinery, demonstrating proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls and conducting ongoing equipment maintenance and care
- Conduct minimal deburring and surface protection on workpieces
- Take detailed measurements and preliminary evaluations to ensure workpiece acceptability
- Perform changes and minor adjustments of all tooling and attachments in the machine; troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during machining process
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records relating to production, downtime, quality and other relevant metrics
- Assist in fixture set up
- Consistently meet minimum production output and quality standards
- Responsible for area housekeeping including machine, storage area, etc.
- Ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with current company policies and procedures, especially following safety guidelines
Schedule and Pay:
- Mon-Fri 3:30pm-11:30pm or Mon-Fri 11:00pm-7:30am
- $21.40/hr

Requirements:
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, including different types of cutting tools and their appropriate usage
- At least 1 year of recent machine operating experience, preferable in a metal cutting and/or fabrications industry
- High school diploma or GED
- Drug test
- Background check
