Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: South Bend
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour+
Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving the operational efficiency of our facility. The successful candidate will work on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), conveyor systems, and steam machines, while adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform upkeep and repairs for facility and floor equipment.
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure operational reliability.
- Address all maintenance-related issues promptly.
- Order necessary parts for equipment and facility maintenance.
- Work with bearings and other mechanical components.
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Self-motivated and organized with strong time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
- Working with PLCs, conveyor systems, and steam machines.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, wrenching, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
