Job Full Description
Express is working with a local manufacturer of electric motors and power transmission components to fill experienced CNC Operator roles. You will play in integral role in making products, tools, and equipment for aerospace, defense, automotive, HVAC, oil & gas, and power industries.
Responsibilities:
- Set up to operate vertical milling machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
- Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
- Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
- Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
- Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
- Move completed material to next workstation.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Schedule and Pay:
- Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm, Fri 6am-3:30pm
- $18.00-$22.00/hour based on level of experience
Requirements:
- Previous CNC experience in mills and lathes
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Must be career minded and eager to learn
- Steel toed shoes or boots
- HS diploma or GED
- Background check
- Drug test
