Job Full Description
Express Employment is currently working with a family owned company specializing in machined plastic parts, as well as distribution of plastic sheet, rod, and tube to find their next CNC Operator.
Responsibilities:
- Start machines and monitor the operations
- Load raw material into machine
- Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
- Measure first piece using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates and/or rulers, and receive verification on the first piece by a qualified inspector
- Measure and document pieces throughout the run to verify conformance to the print
- Document all required information on the inspection report
- Examine completed work pieces for defects
- Maintain, clean and lubricate machines
Schedule and Pay:
- Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4:30pm
- $17.00-$19.00/hr
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of and ability to make practical application of OSHA and company safety precautions and procedures
- Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment with minimum supervision, work rapidly for long periods and work on several tasks at the same time, often under time pressure
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with other company personnel
- Ability to occasionally work extended hours
Requirements:
- CNC experience
- HAAS experience
- Drug test
- Background check
