Job Full Description
Express Employment of Ames, IA has partnered with a local fabrication company seeking additional General Laborers starting at $19/HR.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Duties:
Assisting with the install/creating Awnings. Using power/hand tools, fabricating canvas and metal (cut, measure, sow, fold). Any other shop task (all the things).
Skills/Experience: Must be able to measure and cut accurately. Use of commercial saw, power/hand tools.
- Knows what a miter box saw is
- How to work with a square
- Read a tape measure
- Cut to length
- Doesn’t have to be in the trade, but have the willingness to learn.
Attire:
- Must own safety glasses
- Steel-toed boots are often required
