Job Full Description
Express Employment of Ames has partnered with a local Ames, IA company currently seeking a Car Porter to join their growing team! The main responsibilities in this role with be maintaining the cleanliness and organization throughout the parking lot. This opportunity starts at $18/hr, dependent on experience.
Environment:
- This is a locally-owned, family-operated automotive shop
- This is a 1st shift schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no weekends!
- Attire will include casual clothes and closed toed shoes
Job Duties:
- Move and park vehicles on the dealership lot, including transporting cars to customers.
- Clean cars and keep lot organized
- Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as refilling tires and gas, and keeping batteries charged
- Keep track of vehicle stock, document information about the cars, and provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Must have prior automotive service experience
- Good communication skills
- Must be a good multi-tasker!
