Job Full Description
Express Employment has partnered with a local Fort Dodge, IA company that is seeking additional Manufacturing Operators to join their team! The main responsibility for this position will be to operate assembly, packing, and labeling equipment.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a pay rate starting around $23/hr DOE. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and prior experience in a GMP environment.
Environment:
- This is a company that is focused on providing innovative solutions to companies for animal health
- With a 1st or 2nd shift schedule Monday-Thursday, the hours will be 6:00am-4:30pm OR 4:00pm-2:30am. Possible overtime on Fridays
- Attire will include business casual clothes
Duties:
- Performing in-process checks to ensure products are manufactured to a high quality
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within the production area
- Ensuring all equipment used is cleaned, calibrated, and lubricated between batches
- Production batch documentation is completed accurately in compliance to cGMP standards
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Have a good understanding of Health & Safety practices and a commitment to safety
- At least 3 years manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical/animal health industry
- Good mathematical and communication skills
