Job Full Description
Express Employment has partnered with a local Boone, IA company that is seeking an additional Supervisor to join their team! The main responsibility for this position will be to assist with installations and fabricate storefront systems.
This is a great long-term, evaluation-to-hire full-time position starting at $20/hr! The ideal candidate will have prior carpentry and/or glass installation experience.
Environment:
- This is a worldwide organization dedicated to providing quality equipment for the construction industry
- This is a 2nd shift schedule, Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
- Casual work clothes are preferred, (long sleeve shirts and jeans)
- Steel toed boots are required
Duties:
- Recruit, train, and oversee employees
- Ensure adherence to the production schedule
- Assess quality of goods prior to shipping
- Overseeing production staff, daily operations, and productivity
- Manage records, communicate relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation
Skills/Experience Needed:
- MUST have at least 3 years of management experience in a production environment
- Must have familiarity with building materials in a manufacturing/production environment
